The National Police Memorial (NPM) on the shores of Canberra’s Lake Burley Griffin, is temporarily under wraps as it undergoes a significant rebuild. Unveiled in 2006, the memorial consists of the commemorative wall and forecourt. While the wall will remain intact, the forecourt is being rebuilt due to a progressive deterioration in its appearance. The rebuild will replicate the original …

The PFA membership numbers have risen to 61 811 as at 28 March 2018 according to the annual return submitted today to the Registered Organisation Commission (ROC). This is an increase from 60 871 as at 31 December 2016 and sees the PFA attracting some 10 000 new members across all jurisdictions in 10 years.
